Submitting Work

How our publication works.

We publish progressively over the course of each issue, with a cap of 24 works per issue.

For this reason, we accept submissions all year around. Works that are accepted for publication are curated into upcoming issues.

What we publish.

Rollick is committed to championing new literary voices and is open to unsolicited submissions of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

We are specifically interested in publishing contemporary literature, thought, and opinion about popular culture, society, and everything on the periphery. We are passionate about representing all types of voices.

We welcome submissions by writers of colour; writers who are working class or on low incomes; writers who are queer, transgender, non-binary and gender-nonconforming; writers with disabilities; as well as any writer who feels that they or their story are underrepresented.

How the submission process works.

We accept submissions via Submittable only. We do not accept postal submissions.

We receive a high volume of submissions every month, and we read each and every one. We will do our best to get back to you in 6 weeks.

Rollick has an incredible community of writers. If you have been published with Rollick before, please wait 12-18 months before re-submitting.
